ForGamblers.io publishes independent casino reviews, bonus guides, and payment method guides for players in Canada and Germany. This page explains how we select, test, and update our content — and how we handle affiliate relationships.

How we select casinos to review

We prioritise casinos based on player interest, regional availability, and licensing. A site must hold a valid licence from a recognised authority (MGA, Curacao, Kahnawake, or equivalent) before we will review it. We do not review unlicensed operators.

Our testing process

Every casino review on ForGamblers.io is based on a hands-on test carried out by a member of our editorial team using a real account. Our standard test covers:

  • Registration and KYC — how long sign-up takes and which documents are requested
  • Deposit — we fund the account using a locally relevant payment method (e.g. Interac for Canada, bank transfer for Germany)
  • Bonus terms — we read the full terms and note wagering requirements, max bet caps, game restrictions, and expiry dates
  • Game lobby — we browse slots, live tables, and crash games to assess range and load speed
  • Support — we contact support via live chat and note response time and quality
  • Withdrawal — where possible we request a small cashout and record timing from request to receipt

How we score casinos

Our 10-point rating reflects the overall player experience weighted across: payout reliability (30%), bonus fairness (20%), payment options (20%), game selection (15%), and support quality (15%). Scores are assigned by the lead reviewer and reviewed by a second editor before publication.

Update policy

We review each published page on a rolling 90-day cycle. We also update pages immediately when we are notified of — or discover — a material change: altered bonus terms, new or revoked licence, payment method changes, or significant support quality shifts. ForGamblers.io does not accept payment for placements, editorial coverage, or rating improvements. Casinos cannot purchase a higher score or a featured position in our top picks. Our rankings reflect our test results only.
